We are your local Gardener and our service areas include Kingston, Blackmans Bay, Margate, Taroona, Sandy Bay and Hobart CBD. We are happy to travel outside those areas for larger jobs. Our story began in 2004 when we noticed a lack of reliable and quality gardeners. With a passion for gardening, we decided to start our very own garden maintenance business.

Our hand pruning services will keep your roses and fruit trees in great condition with wonderful results. We use only the best equipment and therefore can prune any plant back into shape. No hedge is too large. We have all the equipment required to shape your hedge or individual bushes into a masterpiece.
Hedges are a stunning addition to any garden, however, to achieve this level of perfection you will need to engage the services of an experienced gardener. Also, don't let your hedge get too tall as many gardeners will not be able to prune them anymore. With the introduction of new OH&S legislation, gardeners will have to use scaffolding on large hedges which will increase the cost of the job considerably.
In Blackmans Bay there are not a lot of homes that sit on a flat blocks of land. Sloping gardens and off shore winds can dry out the soil. Therefore it's important to mulch your garden beds and install a basic drip irrigation system. Our gardeners can advise you on the correct mulch and irrigation system for your garden as part of our garden maintenance services.
There are areas in Kingston that have very sandy soil and it is important to improve the soil by adding organic matter. This will allow your garden to thrive. Mulching and installing a drip irrigation will also assist in maintaining a lush garden. Our gardeners can lay mulch and install a basic irrigation system as part of our services.
With regular mowing and a dose of weed and feed lawn fertilizer, the lawn will look lush and green in a couple of months. After a big clean up weeds will grow back quickly as the seedpods have no competition from overgrown vegetation. We recommend using a herbicide or regular hand weeding to keep on top of any regrowth.
