The Buywood Furniture joinery use only FSC certified Australian Hardwood Timbers including Recycled Hardwood, Tasmanian Oak, Rosewood, American Oak, Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Jarrah and American Walnut.
To complement our furniture, we are also proud stockists of the Molmic range of Sofas and IMG Recliners. Each piece of furniture we make is meticulously handcrafted, using traditional joinery techniques right here in our Brisbane furniture workshop. We are very pleased we purchased our IMG chair from Buywood Furntiture. Even though we were buying a showroom product and not designing a custom made piece of furniture, Lee was more than generous with his time and advice. He helped us choose, gave us a better price than a well-known chain store and delivered it personally. We couldn't ask for better service.

We are absolutely in love with our beautiful Aria dining table and Newport chairs. Elyce was exceptionally patient and attentive in helping us settle on the final design/measurements and we enjoy the exceptional craftsmanship of Lee and the Buywood team every time we walk into the room. We ordered a premium matching set of custom made timber dining and coffee table from Buywood in April 2019 which was paid in full before delivery in July 2019. Both tables we received had multiple cracks filled with a light coloured putty. One crack was 500mm long. A few cracks were deep, one crack was 13mm deep noticable on the table top edge. These cracks and putty finish were not normal and were major defects.
We were asked to wait 3 weeks till August 2019 for the timber to climatize in our home, that the cracks on the table top filled with putty would shrink and become ‘hardly’ noticable

Great customer service, beautiful timber selection & they know what to do with it, to make fine quality furniture that will outlast generations. If you make an appointment, Lee or daughter Elyse, will show you back of house & equipment, where the magic happens,as they say. As well as stunning timber tables and cabinetry they also distribute a gorgeous line of sofa, armchair, recliners & bedheads ,& we found some quality soft furnishings as well, like rugs, feather cushions, some housewares. We bought some lovely armchairs home, with feather cushions,& a gorgeous rug. I love the sideboards & side

The Buywood Furniture experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The personal service of Lee and his team through the process was professional and just something you cannot get through many other purchasing experiences. During the first visit to the showroom we were given a tour of the manufacturing area and talked through some of the current projects. Once our commitment to the project was decided, the ability to personalise the design of items was more akin to working with an architect than buying a piece of furniture. The final product is of amazing workmanship - modern, truly beautiful, solid wood

Kerry and I engaged Buywood to make a large dining table, office desk, office shelving, home entertainment unit and 2 x beautiful bedside tables. All was in spotted gum, with the dining table in QLD Maple. The whole experience, from our first meeting with owner Lee to the delivery and installation was efficient, friendly and professional. The custom furniture is of exceptional quality - flawless! This represented a substantial investment but we certainly weren't disappointed. We would firmly recommend Buywood for those who are after quality custom furniture! 5 stars.
