We were commissioned to design a contemporary glass cabinet for a project we did in Mosman. The brief was to show off the glassware in a cabinet of modern design, made specifically for the house. Drawing on Art Deco design principles, we came up with a design incorporating leadlight glass panels in a stainless steel frame.
We've all seen custom made wardrobes, but this one was custom designed by us so that each and every drawer was designed and sized for a specific use. The envy of Mosman, this wardrobe has drawers specifically designed for everything from shoes to jewellery. Even the his and hers jewellery drawers have specific compartments.
A frantic phone call from a colleague out west saw us making a beeline towards Penrith. Council was rejecting an application for a workers cottage on a nearby farm because the site contained a heritage listed farm house. The implication was for no further development on the site. Devistating news for the client.
Well over a hundred years old, the Kurrajong Heights Post Office had seen a variety of uses, including post office, service station and shop, before an arson attack early this century saw it abandoned. A loving client fell in love with it and engaged us to provide heritage advice and other post approval services.
When The Christian and Missionary Alliance of Australia came to us with a dilapidated chapel on Windsor Road in need of urgent repair we knew exactly what to do. The Church was not familiar with the history of the chapel so we researched the site in depth. Before long, we learned that the former Methodist chapel was constructed in 1879 on land dedicated by the McDougall family.

Nigel Parsons is an Architect in Mosman. He designed our house in 2006 and construction was completed early in 2008, on time, and just on budget. My wife and I were delighted with the results. Nigel and his team came up with a design that was completely outside the box and full of innovation. He successfully negotiated the planning process through Mosman Council, resolving any concerns the neighbours had. My wife was quite particular about the kitchen, so Nigel took us "shopping" for appliances, tiles and benchtops. His advice was invaluable.
We have now sold the house and retired to the Central
