Drillpower QLD and SJ Drilling employ licensed Drillers with specific experience in geotechnical, mineral exploration, environmental drilling and installation of instrumetation. All our staff have experience in the installation of downhole monitoring instruments - monitoring wells, inclinometers, vibrating wire piezometers and extensometers to name a few.
Drillpower QLD and SJ Drilling has rigs capable of drilling to 400m - ideal for shallower exploration drilling, quarry drilling and associated environmental monitoring investigations. Our rigs are mine compliant. Our managinig director is a qualified Diesel Mechanic which means we have a rigourous maintainence program to ensure the safety of our staff and those working with us.
Drillpower QLD and SJ Drilling are specialist in geotechnical drilling with extensive experience in all aspects of ground investigation, geotechnical drilling and sampling. We offer both truck and track mounted drilling rigs, all fully equipped for auger, washbore drilling, air drilling and conventional coring using NMLC, HMLC & 4C barrels and wireline coring using NQ3, HQ3, PQ3 barrels.
Drillpower QLD and SJ Drilling has extensive experience in drilling environmental monitoring wells for a variety of different projects throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales. To complete this work we have drillers that hold current Queensland and New South Wales Class 1 and Class 2 drillers licences and are fully conversant with legislation and standards associated with construction of monitoring wells and water bores.
Our company specialise in installation of geotechnical downhole monitoring instruments including inclinometers, vibrating wire piezometers and extensometers. Our staff focus on sample quality and experienced drillers control instalation that ensures a high confidence in the quality of the data received.
