From the outset we identified that to provide our clients a consistently high level of quality we needed to build a stable team. We see stability as a complex partnership between our clients, staff, suppliers and subcontractors. We have built a stable team, which has in turn created a sustainable business.
The Other Side Landscapes was the winner of a Gold and Silver Award from the Landscape Association in 2019, for Residential Landscape Construction over $600,000 and Residential Landscape construction $100-$150,000. We also won in 2014 Landscape NSW and ACT a Gold Award for Pool Surrounds, a Gold Award for Sustainable Landscapes and a Gold Award for Plantscape.
We integrate functional elements and take timber decks to a new level. Our passion is creating innovative decking options that are tailored to your home, pool and landscape. Our range of decking options extends beyond a simple choice of which material to use. We incorporate kitchens, seating, day beds and lounges into our decks providing greater functionality, usability and enjoyment.
We approach outdoor living areas as an extension of the indoors. Either connected directly with internal living areas or stragically located within the landscape we aim to provide structural functional spaces for all seasons. We specialise in engineered architectural garden structures such as pergolas, cabanas or pool houses.
Paving is a key element of your landscape, when we start from the base up we have a solid platform to work from. Paving is governed by Australian Standards and we ensure they are strictly adhered too, which ensures quality outcomes. Most pavements will require drainage, a detailed analysis of your landscape will guide your paving design and layout.

The team transformed our derelict ex-rental homes' garden into the tranquil scape it is today, full of perfume, colour, bees and butterflies. Its a place where friends gravitate to for lazy afternoon spritz. Am so impressed with the transformation that we have them slated for the landscaping on our next build. Highly recommend!

The Other Side Landscapes were engaged to build a retaining wall for us before the builder could start building our new home.
We were very disappointed with the quality of work and how much longer the job took to what was quoted. After being built the wall was leaking and this was shown after the bricks were cleaned on the house. So, they had to come back and redo all the waterproofing at the back of the wall.
