Services
Paving provides a safe level surface for your and your guests, and of course means dust and dirt are not walked into your home. Stone paving is durable. Unlike wood decks, which need to be re-stained, and rebuilt, stone paving is durable and built to last. The main difference between a concrete slab and paving is that paving is made up of many individual pieces as opposed to one poured slab.
Blending refers to the process of mixing the bricks or pavers to evenly distribute the product colours across the entire finished wall or pavement. This is an important step whether the products you have delivered are a single colour or are multi-coloured. Our bricks and pavers are partially blended during the packing process in the factory.
To calculate the square metres of paved area, break your area up into squares or rectangles and multiply the length by the width. Add up the total number of square metres. There are approximately 38 pavers per square metre, but this varies due to the number of cuts and the laying pattern chosen. You will also need to allow for wastage.
Australbricks clay bricks and pavers are made from naturally occurring minerals that are kiln fired to lock in their colour and strength for life. The composition of the raw materials as well as the firing process may cause each run to differ. The resulting colour variation is inherent in the process and part of the appeal of our natural products.
