We use a different range of timbers from treated pine to different types of hardwood e.g tallowwood, merbau, blackbutt and spotted gum. These are the most popular. For a modern look we also offer "Stratco Cooldek" which is an insulated Pergola and has a beautiful finish on the under side of the roofing this means the roof sheets will span from one beam to the other.

We were very impressed with David's work and have received numerous compliments on how good our deck looks! We had a bit of trouble with our original builder before we contacted David and asked him to quote the completion of our deck. David was very helpful in pointing out what needed to be done to make the deck safe and look good, as well as conservative about changing things that would cost too much for not much gain.

I had about 20 quotes on a new deck ! They all wanted to demolish and rebuild ! Dave was thinking outside the box and suggested we fix it ! Wow ! Game changer ! We could not afforded a whole new deck but he fixed our deck and then our savings meant we could add a roof , then we loved our space so much ! We decided to add a second deck , garage and privacy screening ! Best investment we have ever made ! You know when you find that perfect builder you stick with you them ! We saved for 3 years and our dreams have become a reality!

Recently I decided to replace my old pergola as it was in disrepair. A neighbour of mine, David Joiner is a builder & specialises in pergolas, decks, screens etc, and came highly recommended. Dave has done a wonderful job of my new pergola, he is a professional tradesman, materials are top quality and he is very punctual. I have already had 3 compliments on my new pergola. Dave has build 5 decks for us at 2 houses over the last 10 years. He used a range of different materials, providing great advice on the most suitable - including hardwood, pine and composite materials like Techwood. Dave has a flair for good design and is a perfectionist who never takes a shortcut. It's a pleasure watching him work as he is so efficient and has such aneye for detail.
