Services
Macquarie Joinery combines professional project management discipline with high quality craftsmanship to give our clients great products at competitive prices with reliable service. Sam Wayland has been the owner of Macquarie Joinery since 2005. He is a professionally trained builder who had worked for many of the major building contractors before running his own businesses.
Your home's Entry Door is the star feature of your home. We make range of doors to suit most homes or we can make to your own design so that you can express your creativity. We build doors with any number of glass panels (or lights) We can source all types of glass and timbers. In addition to stocking glazing bars in standard profiles, we can match virtually any profile which is already in place.
Louvres are an elegant style of window. Our preferred construction is a solid cedar frame incorporating an Altair Breezway louvre gallery. We use the Aneeta sashless window system. It is a modern system that features two moving panes of counterbalanced glass, without a timber sash frame. Horizontal sliding windows are often chosen for their ease of operation and their compactness.
Glass is the most important component of windows and an essential element of some ornamental doors. We use plain, etched, leadlight and all forms of commercially available glass. We make sure that our glass doors and windows meet the Building Code of Australia. They will protect your home from rain, wind and all normal weather conditions.
We use the best quality range of window and door hardware to match the quality of our joinery. We use a range of quality brands for our window hardware (for example, catches, sliding window catches, window locks, sash locks, window chainwinders, and stays). Our preferred hardware suppliers are: Whitco; Raven; Brio etc.

Sam at Macquarie Joinery is a master craftsman. I trusted Sam to build me a desktop table for my snooker table. The result could not have been more impressive. Visitors to my house always comment on how great it looks. I've known Sam for 10 years and i know the quality of his work.
My father was a french polisher so i know quality when i see it.
If you want old fashioned high-quality craftsmanship hire Sam and his team at Macquarie Joinery.

Sam is a really dishonest person. I spent $1000s with him for custom woodwork and joinery and the workmanship was appalling. I showed him numerous mistakes and misalignments and he first blamed the weather, then blamed me, and lastly blamed my home. He then simply refused to answer the phone when he saw my number even though I was impossibly polite regarding these issues. I've now heard from nearby joinery businesses that he's know for doing shoddy work. I wish I knew that beforehand. I would say beware, but instead, just don't work with him, you will absolutely regret it.

I had a run in with the owner of this business today. All in all after my brief and unfortunate encounter with this miserable human being i would be inclined to say that this is not the type of person anybody would want to do business with. Shame on you Sam and you should re-think how you treat people. Apparently you taught me a lesson by parking me in today whilst my child screamed downstairs in his pram with my mother waiting whilst you pretended to be on a phone call in your office. You need to learn a lesson in being a 'gentleman'.
