Danes Jakob and Michael Gamborg knew that Scandanavian design was the future of Australian kitchens when they settled in Sydney in the late 1980s. The Gamborg brothers had noticed a gap in the industry between what was being produced locally and the quality and attention to detail they were accustomed to in fashion-forward Copenhagen.
Our customers are from all walks of life including sports and television celebrities. Most recently completed works is a kitchen for Jamie Durie.

It is never too late to say Thank You DK Kitchens,. Your well made kitchens look good, work well and stand the test of time.
I was so happy to find I was able to afford this Quality, modern looking kitchen 17 years ago. It was well planed and installed in the space available. So often over the years I have marvelled at how well everything works, especially the draw full of heavy plates. Thank You again.

We love our kitchen and cabinetry that DK Design Kitchens made for us ! From the initial meeting Jakob listened and where needed made brilliant suggestions to improve. The kitchen was fitted on time and on budget. My wife Simona is a huge online shopper and researcher and knew what she wanted. Happy wife, happy life ! DK's kitchens are well designed, timeless and functional. We also did all our bedroom , hallway and laundry cabinetry with DK and its fantastic. I highly recommend DK ! Graham Monro

The kitchen design was incredible and even more functional than we imagined.
The removal of the old kitchen and install of the new kitchen was done very professionally, within the planned time frames and all the contractors worked cleanly, to a very high standard and fixed anything that was not 100%.
Would certainly recommend DK Kitchens to anyone.

We have had a DK Design Kitchen for over 11 years and it is still in excellent condition due to the great quality product. Recently we needed to have the doors above the fridge adjusted due to a larger fridge being purchased. Michael came out personally with Marco and they adjusted our doors and inserted spring loaded fittings to make it easy for us to open and close them. A great job and very friendly people - thank you very much.

I can't thank DK highly enough for the amazing job they did on our kitchen.
We spent almost a year going back and forth on designs with DK and they were always patient with us and never made us feel pressured.
Paul was excellent through the design process, Chad was exceptional at installing the kitchen, and Dean was great at getting the fine details perfect in the final plans.
They were flexible with our approach and allowed us to involve our own trades where we wanted to. We could not be happier with the end result. Everyone that comes into our kitchen says "wow".

I have read some of the other reviews and I've had a very different experience from some of them. I am very happy with my beautiful new kitchen. I wanted great design and Paul delivered. I had great service from everyone at DK every step of the way. If a delay happened they fixed it straight away and rescheduled. I found their tradespeople to be very professional and courteous. I couldn't be happier. Every time I walk into my kitchen I smile.. it looks beautiful, finishes and detail are state of the art and built to last. It's a pleasure to cook in. Thank you DK
