BUYER BEWARE. I paid a hefty deposit and waited, and waited and waited. Excuse after excuse came and finally so did the fence. It was built with WET MOULDY WOOD, I kid you not. No it was not raining nor had it been all day. The nails were not hammered in a straight line and some were left sticking out. I am gutted.
Im no chippy, yet I do know the result of using wet wood and hammering nails into wet wood. Shame on you Fence Shop.

Been waiting 5 months for a fence to be constructed.
THE FENCE SHOP cancelled the original date, then cancelled the 2nd date, and is now avoiding calls and the 3rd date will likely not go ahead.
On top of this, wrong colour was ordered.
This is the 2nd job we've done through them & the initial job was misquoted and we were overcharged.

I attended the fence shop with intentions of building my own 60mtr wooden fence to save $$. I had no idea where to start. Right there and then Paul drew up plans and measurements, listing absolutely everything I needed down to the exact number items. He then quoted everything at a very fair price. Within a day I had the exact materials I needed down to the screws and nails delivered. I then bombarded Paul and the team with questions, tips and techniques during the 4days of building the fence. They were more than happy to help. Paul and the crew's customer service was above my expectations, making

We have just arrived home May 2019 and I must say we are really happy with the works completed at our home. I think this was logistically difficult due to the neighbors and ourselves being away on holidays at the time. Good quality of work and on-time which is rare these days.
We are really happy and would recommend your company any fencing re-fencing.

I would never use this company again. They operate with little to no business ethics and principles. Extremely slow response times to defects when reported, resulting in inability to take matters further as they conveniently delay until timeframes or warranties have passed. Poor workmanship and structural design of fences. They work to minimum industry standards which means if fence sways, posts pop out, or gates don’t open for longer than a few months, they will demonstrate unwillingness to fix defects that occur within warranty period, will blame it on earth movement and accept no responsibility

Dealing with this business has been nothing short of traumatic. No words to describe how awful their customer services has been. Worst communication imaginable. Several months of chasing emails and phone calls and most of the time they would never return phone calls despite saying they would. In fact we're still waiting to hear about why our 3m fence posts were only set 300mm under ground instead of the standard 600mm? I'm sure our fence is built to Chinese standards but I can't bear to deal with these incompetent morons one more day so will have to let it go. Sometimes it felt as though they didn

After 3 weeks of failed attempts by The Fence Shop to install our fence and enduring complete incompetence and unreliability, we cancelled the contract. They've unethically and illegally refused to refund our deposit and remove their own partial materials from our property, despite absolutely no work being done whatsoever. According to the ACCC they've violated numerous Australian Consumer Laws in doing so, plus our lawyer discovered their contract with us was invalid from the beginning (outdated and not current QBCC requirements, etc.). Our lawyer's demand letter was also ignored
