Founded by Ross and Juli Triffitt, Eclipse Handcrafted Furniture have been manufacturing quality, solid timber furniture for well in excess of 30 years. For most of that time Eclipse have specialised in the use of unique indigenous hardwood timbers to handcraft unique pieces of furniture. The timbers mostly used to create these pieces are timbers with a bit of visible 'character'.
These hardwood timbers reflect the harsh Australian environment that the tree has been exposed to, in some cases easily for over two to three hundred years. Quite often it can be seen when the tree was exposed to bush fires which is evidenced by some black markings. Other markings might be from insects that inhabited the tree.

Services
Our offering of dining chairs is a mixture of chairs bought in from importers or large manufacturers, along with some manufactured by our own factory in Wagga Wagga. Everything is completely customisable, down to the timber, fabric, size, finish and detail. Expect a lead time of approximately 4-6 weeks for most of our Made To Order Collection.
Sideboards, buffets, liquor cabinets, or perhaps an armoire, they all fit into this category. Everything is made individually made by our skilled craftsman using quality hardware and to fit your exact requirements in one of our beautiful Australian hardwood timbers. Everything is completely customisable, down to the timber, size, finish and detail.

An Australian hardwood timber dining table made by Eclipse is a very special and unique piece of furniture to own. Each table made by Eclipse represents the Australian bush landscape. Perfection within the wood is generally not aimed for, although it can be. Every table is different and within the markings a story exists about the actual tree and the tough Australian environment that the tree has existed in.

We bought a beautiful side table and small cabinet from Eclipse a few years ago. We liked them so much that we have now just taken delivery of a gorgeous 8 seater dining table and chairs. The Eclipse team went to every effort to ensure the timber in all of pieces tied in together. I would highly recommend their furniture and it is great that it is made in regional NSW.

Marc and the team at Eclipse created a beautiful entertainment unit, side tables, and dining table for us. The whole process was great - good communication early on, and we were able to talk through how the designs would work (even though we know nothing about furniture construction!). They even created a whole new dining table design to suit our needs. Fabulous company - can't recommend highly enough.

From my first visit to their showroom to delivery of my dining table, Marc and the team at Eclipse could not have been more accommodating, helpful or creative. Marc designed a stunning table for me from scratch which met all of my practical needs (it extends to 3.2m!) and exceeded all expectations in terms of how beautiful it looks. It was a fabulous experience and I will never go anywhere else again for custom furniture. Highly recommend.
