Lop Chop Chip provides professional tree management services to local councils, commercial clients and residential customers.

Before any pruning, an assessment of the tree is undertaken by one of our qualified arborists to determine the trees overall health and the potential risks involved in the pruning process.

I live on Russell Island. Had LCC quote on a job to remove a large overhanging tree. They were very reasonable price and scheduled the job in a timely manner, despite being very busy. The team were very friendly and professional and even gave a ride in their cherry picker crane. Cleaned up everything afterwards. Would definitely recommend Gavan and his team.

Talented Arborist and local Reality TV Celebrity Rayce led a team which included two more arborists. Rayce was knowlegable and understood the local conditions and council requirements. He was sensitive to the solar panel requirements and the particular requirements of my block such as wind direction etc and the work was carried out in a timely and professional manner. I'm having a house stumped on Macleay Island, and Raice and his team took my block from a scrubby bush block to tidy and usable in a single day. Furthermore - I got lucky on this one - they managed to fit my job in the day after I called, due to luckily having another job scheduled on the same block.

We have just had Lop Chop Chip prepare our trees on Macleay Island so that we have them strong and safe (gums etc) before we build. It was a pleasure working with Raice in diagnosing the required work - he walked the block and gave a tree by tree description. Ultimately we have “saved” a big feature gum by giving it a hard haircut (“habitat”). Very impressed with the work, the progress photos sent during the job (we are off site) and the knowledge of a proper arborist. 5/5!

The crew from Lop Chop Chip pulled up to do work across the road here on Stradbroke Island. I wandered over as my garden was in need of some serious pruning.
They took my job on and got to it after completing the job across the road.
So thankful the men were professional, caring of the plants i wanted to keep and helpful. I recommend them if you need tree lopping.

The team at Lop Chop Chip are hard working, considerate and extremely professional. They often go above and beyond on jobs that incur no extra costs, they have a great reputation for providing a top quality service. They have great trucks & machinery that you can tell are well maintained and looked after. You often see them out in the community of the Bay Islands doing volunteer work and rescuing wildlife. The manager Max and director Raice are great to deal with, for a small community I am a big supporter of long standing family businesses on the islands.

So very professional and friendly. I personally would highly recommend Raice and his Lop Chop Chip team. Smiles, manners, safety, clean up - all first class. Even worked around a nest with eggs in it to ensure they were safe. Pledged to come back after birds have flown the coup and take down the branches that had the nest and was shading the nest. If you want something done the most professional and safe way, give Lop Chop Chip a call and sit back and watch the great work!
