Chapman Built is a family owned construction company specializing in residential construction of Canberra homes, including custom knockdown-rebuilds, extensions and renovations. Chapman Built is dedicated to providing the highest quality building services. Luke Chapman is the director and is a fully licensed builder and holds a degree in Engineering.
Chapman Built can help you with all facets of the process, including architectural and structural design, costing and estimating, development and building approval, construction, and the certification process. We use the highest quality materials and trades, and the finest craftsmanship. We carry out all building work in accordance with the National Construction Code of Australia (NCC) and all work is guaranteed.
All projects exhibit the same basic process; Plan, Design, Build. Some projects are simple and can be performed within a short time with minimal design. Some projects are more complex and time consuming and involve detailed drawings, architectural and structural design, planning approval and certification.
As the owner of Chapman Built Luke was very much on deck and in-tune every step of the way for our major renovation which included a small extension. His attention to detail is extraordinary and we are very happy with the finish. Nothing was too much trouble and our ideas and concerns were always listened to.
We engaged Chapman Built to undertake a major extension and relocation of our kitchen. Luke worked with us to provide temporary walls and fencing which allowed us to remain in the house throughout the build with minimal disruption. Communication from Luke throughout the build was excellent and ensured we had no surprises.
