Pinkerton Security is a security systems installation company established in 1983 in Wangaratta by Mario Pane (present day manager). We install alarms, cameras, access systems and all electronic security products. From humble beginnings over 30 years ago, Pinkerton Security is now a reputable and well recognized name throughout North East Victoria, Albury Wodonga Border Region and Shepparton areas.
The flexibility of alarm systems has grown enormously over the past 10 years, alarm control panels can be adapted to meet the most exacting requirements. The range and reliability of detection devices from motion sensors, door contacts, glass break sensors, seismic detectors or tamper switches allows for installations to be tailor made to suit client's requirements.
Pinkerton Security has installed hundreds of CCTV systems over the years in various locations across North East Victoria and the Albury Wodonga Border region, due to the increasing popularity of video surveillance. These systems are eminently suited to the ever-evolving communications technology available to us.
An access system is designed to allow access to authorised persons through a door, gate, roller door or any barrier that can have a lock or opening mechanism installed. Door access systems have grown from a simple keypad that would unlock an electric lock to the present-day systems which are controlled through proximity cards/tokens that are badged across a reader (no touching parts) to determine if authorised access is granted.

In 2015 we engaged Pinkerton Secutiry to install CCTV surveilance in the public areas of our Mansfield Apartments and in the underground carpark. It has been money well spent as we have not had any issues with graffiti or vandalism where the cameras reach. Over the past six years we have had the system serviced by the same regular team.
