My passion for design and decoration led me to study a Diploma of Visual Arts, followed by a Diploma of Arts Interior Design and Decoration at RMIT. This led to a home based business established at the beginning of 2000, working on varied projects including a variety of Interior Design projects such as house and office (residential), commercial and retail both renovations and new constructions both locally and in Melbourne.
How do you charge for your interior design & decorating advice? Each client has a file for their individual project including a detailed timesheet. An hourly rate is charged for time spent and also for travel if out of the Shepparton CBD. How to you keep up to date with changes in trend? Wendy views ongoing training as a high priority, recently completing Certificate IV in Kitchen design through the Kitchen & Bathroom Design Institute (KBDI).
We love our new house and the kitchen is beautiful and functional. The black granite bench is a timeless natural masterpiece with lovely swirls of crystal and multiple flecks of delicate colour with the appearance of depth. It is wonderful to gaze on and at the same time easy to clean and functional.
