Byron Bay Tree Services (BBTS) is a privately owned Australian Company dedicated to providing quality service and tree care in Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland. BBTS commenced operations in 1999 focusing on the Byron Shire and have since expanded our business to cover the Ballina, Lismore and Tweed Heads Shires.

Stump grinding is a service that BBTS offers which involves grinding of the trees stump below ground level using a stump grinder. Stop before you lop! Trees are complex living organisms. Pruning trees correctly is critical in ensuring long term health, mitigating risk and minimising cost. We will endeavour to action all calls and requests for emergency response 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

BBTS are fully equipped to carry out block clearing and other land clearing projects in Northern NSW and South East Queensland. Block or land clearing. BBTS provides various arboricultural consultancy services and related reports as well as advice on EVERYTHING tree related, from correct planting, recommended species and tree care.
BBTS has been operating in the Northern NSW/ Northern Rivers - Byron, Ballina, and Tweed Shires since 1999. We specialise our service to our domestic clients providing large and small tree removal, meticulous tree pruning, stump grinding as well as planting. As a service based business we strive to be as competitive as possible.
I have just had a substantial amount of tree lopping and pruning done on my rural property. It was a very busy day with two large chippers and a cherry picker in action on a constrained and somewhat difficult site. Yesterday we had a tree removed from our property which had fallen on our fences from the neighbour's yard in the storm.

We had a stand of 50m high trees which we had inappropriately planted far too close to our house and now endangered it. The site was difficult with the house, shed, fences and power pole all a problem.
Alex was punctual, listened, and quoted. The team arrived on the arranged day and did a magnificent job. The tree climber cut and lowered the more endangering branches to the ground.
No damage to surrounding gardens or structures!
Clean up immaculate.

These guys ticked all the boxes! Service with a smile at a great price. All the equipment, experience and knowledge required to do the job right, from the very beginning. In preparation for a slab, we had four very large trees removed as well as a bunch of smaller ones. All stumps and roots were removed (not stump-ground) as required by the builder. Care was taken in transplanting a mature Cycad too. Timing was fantastic, and extremely quickly executed. Thanks Alex and team!

From the initial contact to the clean up, the teams professionalism, work ethic and teamwork was exceptional.
Recently the team was on my site all day for substantial tree works. They went about their work in a methodical manner whilst taking care of the extensive gardens surrounding multiple work zones.

Fantastic service, reliable, environmentally aware and friendly guys. I hate removing trees and find it difficult to even cut them back but sometimes it has to be done. The guys from Byron Bay Tree Services did exactly what was needed professionally and efficiently. The guys were very friendly and checked with me if they weren't sure of something. The price was so affordable, amazing really considering how much they did. They cleaned up afterwards, had the chipper for all the green waste, showed up to do the work when they said they would and then were done remarkably quickly. I've used other tree

So glad we chose to enlist Byron Tree Services to do our job. Alex and his team, were punctual and friendly. They did an amazing job of removing a few trees and a stump in our yard and also some pruning. Awesome result. Very tidy job, and left the space looking light and as we had hoped it would look on completion but better! Couldn’t be happier with Byron Tree Services! Highly recommend!

Alex and the team at Byron Bay Tree Services are the best! They turn up when they say they will and their price is competitive. The Climbers are amazingly skilful and they can remove branches overhanging buildings with precision. They are fast and efficient and clean up after the job. I am a Garden Designer and they are the only company I wholeheartedly recommend to my clients. Thanks Alex.....another great job done!
