Teal installed windows and doors in my home 25 years ago and they were, and still are, the highest quality joinery from the highest quality joiners. This is even more remarkable as I live in a beautiful, but very harsh environment, overlooking the ocean. The only significant deterioration has been to the screen door which is exposed to full sun, salt and wind constantly. I called Teal today to let them know the screen door was, after a quarter of a century, coming to them for repair or replacement. Teal have been a family owned and operated business for nearly 30 years and to my amazement I was

I called nearly every joinery from the Northern Rivers to the Gold Coast when I was looking for doors and windows for our renovation. I was so relieved when I finally found Teal Windows. Their friendly, down-to-earth manner made it very easy to communicate what we wanted and get our order quoted and built quickly. The team at Teal Windows listened to our needs and provided us with all the information and options to help us make decisions to suit our project and our budget. Everything was easily sorted by phone and email. Our doors and windows have been beautifully crafted with premium timbers and

When we were looking for someone to construct our front door and surrounds, I was concerned about the single negative review posted here. Having spoken to Teal and satisfying myself that they are professionals, we went ahead and engaged them. I’m happy to report now that not only are they professional, they are absolute master craftsmen and truly excellent service providers. My experience could not be more different to what the earlier negative reviewer posted - something is clearly amiss there.
When looking for trades and craftspeople we had three criteria. Let me detail how Teal absolutely

Teal Windows is disappointed with the comments made in Dianne’s review. At Teal Windows cost Teal has willingly worked with the builder and the finish supplier to rectify the mould growth on the surface of Teal’s products which the finish supplier’s chemist advised is specifically related to the setting of Dianne’s house site. The same mould appears on other products at the house. Teal rectified the machine chatter on several doors at Teal’s expense in a timely manner. On inspection all fly screens were in order. Following a site visit the finish supplier has made recommendations to Dianne’s

When we built our home it was designed with lots of windows and doors opening on to outdoor decking. This was a quality build and we expected to pay accordingly. However the doors and windows were a complete let-down from the beginning. Teal windows were difficult to deal with and when ever there was an issue always shifted the blame elsewhere. When the doors and windows arrived they had chatter marks and after much blame shifting Dion reluctantly agreed to replace them. The builder we chose was working on a cost plus basis and we were then left with the extra expense of having them removed, the

We are renovating an old farmhouse and wanted windows to match the existing ones. Jason was one of the few that took an genuine interest in our job, as we live off the beaten track. One of the best things about building is meeting awesome craftsmen. Jason is a skilled window maker, no doubt about it. I originally was going to use local blackbutt timber, but Jason advised us that it warps and moves a lot, on further investigation into this, I realised Jason was right and went with his recommendation of western red cedar, and I'm so glad I did. Nothing was too much trouble, and nothing was left to
