Honestly I use to work in B&D and I have to say it’s the most toxic workplace to be, being treated the worst by the bosses who don’t recognise anything but production claiming to care about “safety” aslong as they are happy! Never considerate about pay towards employees or even care about how much we work never have I got a thank you or felt like I even belong apart of a team 😢 Not trying to make this place sound bad but in all honesty worse workplace I have been to! Very toxic and not a place I recommend to anyone I have to be honest even quality isn’t 100% can’t expect good quality

Worst roller door ever and equally worse service. Every 3 months I had to call them (kept malfunctioning in regular intervals) and in reply they used to send someone after 3 weeks of the request (my house security used to be at max. risk). I would never ever recommend them to anyone as I have changed the motor and got rid rid of them.

Rod from Tech Support is rude, shows no empathy and quite frankly doesn't care! Customer service is hopeless.
Brand new premium upgrade door installed just last year. Have had issues with it opening recently. They don't want to help at all. Want to charge $175 callout fee. No one is even trying to help. Next available tech is not until 8 days away and can't even operate the door manually by hand. Very frustrating!

Darren (Melbourne) came to inspect our door after it stopped opening / closely correctly.
Identified the issue quickly and walked me through the process in an easy to understand manner.
Sorted a replacement motor (an upgrade) and all relevant parts and service and the job itself was quick and efficient.
Absolutely recommended for anyone in the west in Melbourne.

Worst customer service. Sustained minor injury and damages to my vehicle from the motor of door not opening completely. B&D technician initially came and said nothing wrong with it and he did not have authority to replace.

Update: after several phone calls with B&D service manager Jarrod - we will be given a new motor, sensor, auto lock as we had a fault on our one. They have accepted to fix the garage door damage as well. I have fixed car damage using my car insurance as goodwill for good service provided afterwards. Good service was given by Jarrod the manager and good follow up calls by

In 4 years at our new place the top panel on our garage roller door has broken off twice. The problem appears to be that one of the tracks in not properly aligned therefore putting pressure on the door when lifting. Contacted B&D and as its out of warranty I got billed $250.00 for 15 minutes work which I have not paid. Service man at the time replaced broken brackets and sprayed W40 without realigning the track despite me insisting in being done. To cut a long story short it has left me with no other option that to take it up with Fair Trading. Poor service and workmanship.
