I helped an elderly couple move this week and got to listen to someone from this company yell at the homeowner because this company had not sent a big enough truck (in fact they needed 2 trucks) after the homeowner had said several times how big their house was and maybe they should come and look at how much needed to be moved. After a heated argument this company finally agreed to send another truck but it would cost the owners several thousand dollars more and a delay for them and the person trying to move INTO the house.
Very bad service & I’d be hesitant to recommend them in the future.

We recently moved from Melbourne to Launceston using Coastal Removals (March 2019) . Kurt answered our email enquiries promptly and gave us a quote via email. We self-packed prior to pickup. We had 115+ boxes, several beds, a lounge, some other furniture and bits and pieces so we went with the quote of a 20ft container. (I measured all the boxes to have a good idea of the volume). Kurt arranged for Highton Removals to do the pick up from the Melbourne end. The guys did a superb job of loading the container. Boxes were loaded from floor to ceiling, everything was secured and padded with removal

Learnt one lesson dealing with these removalists is that get a detailed quote from these blokes. Verbal agreements leaves you wide open.
This business lacks formal completion of quotes and invoices.
Which is really their duty to be more transparent. Customers shouldn't have to worry about traffic hold ups. It's like bricklayers charging extra because of flies.

I have used Coastal Removals several times over years.
Every move consistently guys cant do enough to help, the are hard working strong polite funny even helped me put storage units together nothing was a hassle. Never felt like a number but a valued customer a friend.
Last moving day i had very sad phone call while they were at my house and they were just so caring really looked after me.
I recommend Kurt and his guys to everybody. They are awesome.
