Services
We are qualified building certifiers and can assist you in all aspects of building surveying and building certification for residential and commercial building work. Residential building approvals (class 1a and 10), including demolition and removals, single detached dwellings, townhouses, multi-unit dwellings, alterations and additions, patios, pergolas, decks, carports, sheds, retaining walls, fences and pools.
Download our BBAC Lodgement Checklist for details on information required for submitting a Building Application. Upon submission of a building application, our Private Certifiers assess documentation against the National Construction Code, the Queensland Development Code, and local Council Town Planning and Infrastructure requirements.
For all applications within the Brisbane area and greater regions require 3 sets of plans. Should the plans be on larger size paper (greater than A3), please provide either an electronic version. As all building projects are different and within varying local councils, please request a quote from us.

We have been using BBAC regularly for more than 15 years and find them reliable and friendly. Unfortunately the building certification process is government and QBCC controlled, with frequent regulation updates.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Extremely unprofessional it's been 2 years since the work was completed and I'm still waiting on approval. Every time they come to inspect the scope is extended further and further outside the plans sent to council. I'll be submitting a formal complaint to the QBBC.

I found it hard to communicate with the surveyor, he was not keen to explain things or provide additional information. On top of that, during the final inspection he asked for a privacy screen that wasn't need, and when ask to show that particular regulation on the building code, he couldn't find it. This privacy screen, which wasn't needed, delay the process a few weeks unnecessarily. Overall not a positive experience for us.
