Services
Surveyors Newcastle are Newcastle's leading provider of surveying services (land surveying). We have over 20 years local knowledge in and around the Hunter region. We've also worked closely with the City of Newcastle Council so we know their requirements inside and out. Our expert team covers residential surveying, construction surveying and civil surveying.
A Detail Survey (also known as a Contour Survey, Feature Survey, or Topographic Survey) is required by the City of Newcastle Council if you are intending to build or extend. They're also used for property valuation purposes or to plot flood levels if you have drainage issues. The survey will show positioning of existing structures (buildings, trees, pools etc), neighbouring structures, setbacks, and levels/contours.
An Identification Report is used to identify a parcel of land. It establishes the position of boundaries. An Identification Report will show the location of structures such as buildings, fences, and retaining walls, as well as easements in relation to the boundaries. The report will identify if the fences are not on the boundary or if any neighbouring properties are encroaching on your land.
