For over 40 years our parent company has been involved in commercial and residential construction in the Southern Highlands, NSW. In 1990, we made the decision to purpose build self storage units with the same materials we would use to construct a house. We wouldn't live in a tin storage shed and believe the things you value should live well too.

Tankar Self Storage Centre has four locations in Mittagong to service the Southern Highlands, NSW so we are sure to have a size storage unit to suit your needs. We measure our units in cubic metres. To give you a visual of space, place 4 dining chairs back to back, which is approximately 1 cubic square metre.

This organization has amazing community spirit
I am one half of locally founded animal rescue golden oldies founded by my mum the late Gina fallon and these amazing guys designated a locker for a week long donation collection to help all our fur babies and its amazing
Their lockers are greatly sized and so clean their security layout is safe but definitely not intimidating .
When I learned of the prices we will be using them on occasions

Ive had my classic car stored at Tankar for over ten years now, they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and compared to storing in Sydney, its way cheaper and a great drive down. It feels like my own little place in the Southern Highlands, i use one for my car and the other my man stuff. Happy to recommend.

Amazing!!!! Helpful, accommodating, make life EASY and stress-free.
