A restricted key utilises a keyblank which is only available to particular registered locksmiths. Each key which is cut under a restricted key system must be authorised by the appropiate personel set up in each system. By doing this it gives much greater control over keys. This in paticular becomes invaluable for motels and other commercial buildings.
