The Towe family has been involved in the door industry since 1969 when Colin Towe, new to Australia from England, started as an installer with B & D Roll-a-Door in Melbourne in 1969. In the following years 6 more Towe family members have become entrenched in the garage door industry. In 1977 Colin Towe left the B & D organisation and started E.S.S. GARAGE DOORS from the garage at home.

These guys are great! - responded to my web inquiry the next day, had Peter out to quote as soon as I was available. Emma in the office is awesome & so efficient at issuing & processing invoices/payments. And new motorised door, installed on schedule, is exactly what we asked for - we love it! Only one tiny issue, the manual key overide lock installed on outside of our house isn't straight, but that's so minor in the scheme of things 🤣. Would definitely recommend ESS.

We were so impressed with ESS Garage Doors. We had been told by another company that our door needing replacing but we hoped it could be repaired. The ESS fellows came and repaired it quickly and the price was very reasonable. They also were able to supply us with additional remotes. Highly recommended.
