Our team can install your timber floors by direct stick, plank on ply and plank on battens. We also install pattern floors and boarders. Direct Stick installation is when the timber is glued and nailed directly to the concrete subfloor after a moisture barrier has been applied. It is long lasting, clean and affordable.
This process is really important as it displays your finishing product. You want your floor to be sanded and protected the best way possible so we offer many different ways to do this, from hard wax oils to two pack water based coatings. You can pick the sheen level you like from an invisible coating that looks like natural timber to a super gloss coating that looks like a showroom.
Stair cases are a feature in your home so we take great pride in our stairs. We first form up your stairs with plywood to get them all the same size and height, then we pour levelling concrete to get them level before installing the solid timber and style of your choice. I would urge caution when paying premium costs for sub-standard workmanship and quality of products. (We paid $7000.00 plus) and are now faced with prospect of covering the family room/dining area with carpet, as the quality of timber is extremely poor. The whole job needs re-doing. The passageways and the kitchen finish is very poor. In no way does this resemble what I requested. The flooring looks unfinished.
When I contacted Troy and Caleb about this, they generously offered for a further sum of $400 to recoat the area I was not having to have carpeted. I did not wish to pay more money for

Walk on Wood extended our existing Marri floors into other areas of the house, dovetailing the old into the new and once re-sanded and finished the job is seamless. Highly professional, easy to deal with, a pleasure to have in the house, on time every day and skilled at their work. I have no problem recommending Caleb and Todd to anyone looking to install wood flooring.

I've subcontracted most of our house build & it's great to come across a trade that you can trust. Caleb quoted the afternoon before the Xmas break(I wasn't expecting anyone to even reply till the New Year), "unlike alot of other trades" he didn't look for faults while quoting, infact he assured me they would be able to work around any problems, was prompt with the reply quote & even offered to source matching floor boards over the Xmas break(again unexpected service).

You can have a lot of concerns and reservations, when coming to choose a company to supply & install your timber floors, but with Walk on Wood you can lay these concerns to one side, Caleb & Todd have a passion for delivering high quality timber as well as craftsmanship, when you meet & talk to them you can tell they genuinely care about finding the perfect timber floor product for each & every individual customer.
