After living in Blackwater for twenty years as an electrician in the mining industry, Gary Taylor relocated with his family to the Sunshine Coast in 1997. Gary operated as a sole trader for 7 years before expanding into his own company known as Taylor Electrical Services in 2004. Our staff have also lived locally on the Coast for many years and the Company and has promoted the trade by employing its own apprentices over the years.
Building a new home is an exciting process, but making decisions during the planning stage can sometimes be overwhelming when it comes to how many lights do I need, where will I need power points, switching that might be out of the ordinary, what type of lights and switches, etc. Our electricians will work with you to design an electrical installation that works within the design parameters of your house and also be a functional home.
If your switchboard is comprised of old style fuses it might be time to upgrade to your "current" needs to give you the reliability and protection you need. Fuses are a basic overload protection but do not have an accurate trip load point, whereas circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical installations in the event of an overload on the circuit.
