Marcos met Paul through his sister and the future brothers-in-law got along straight away because they had similar interests - both at work and outside their working life. They started collaborating on their own home renovations and began to pick upsmall construction jobs here and there. Polished concrete is a hard wearing floor. It's easy to maintain, easy to clean, and it's stylish. That's why so many of our clients choose polished concrete flooring for their residential, commercial, or industrial projects. It's resistant to industrial chemicals, oils, food stains, greases, and fatty materials, so it's very easy to clean.
There are many ways to achieve the aesthetic of polished concrete, without the price associated - and concrete grinding is one of them. By using premier grinders from the Swedish company Husqvarna, we can remove the top layer of an existing slab. By the end of the process, you'll be left with a polished concrete floor that is stain-resistant, durable, and easy to maintain.
It is impervious to most chemicals, has antimicrobial properties, is dust-free, non-slip, requires little maintenance, and is long-lasting. Subsequently, epoxy flooring is a popular choice in hospitals, laboratories, garages, commercial kitchens, factories, and even the home. The floor has come up brilliantly, and their professionalism throughout the project was some of the best I've experienced.

Marcos team was professional, on time and delivered a great result. Communication from start to finish was exceptional. Out of all the contractors on our current build these guys would be at the top of out list for "over-perform" which is so rare these days. We're also based in central VIC and that wasn't an issue at all. Will 100% use again.

Our job did not turn out to be as straight forward as it initially appeared given the age of the concrete. The team went above and beyond to ensure our floors were the best they could be. The boys were professional, reliable and showed the greatest integrity for their work. The results are fantastic and I’m incredibly happy with the outcome. Don’t think twice about using Policrete above any other company.

Policrete made a really cool and complex concrete bar at my restaurant, plus concrete benches in 3 locations. The team was flexible during the renovation and even came and did the work in the evenings when the builders were a bit delayed.
It all looks amazing and when some little things went wrong (no unexpected on a worksite) Marcos was happy to come back out and resolve it.
So refreshing to find tradesmen that have such pride in their work and are willing to come back - you can't say that for all trades unfortunately, and means I can highly recommend Marcos and the Policrete team!

Policrete took an old well worn and damaged automotive workshop floor and restored it to "better than new" condition in our latest store build project here in Maribyrnong. We received awesome advice on the job process, the job was completed on time and on budget with an impressive finish. Policrete have been nothing short of brilliant to deal with. They came highly recommended from several different concreters I spoke to and clearly have a reputation for being the best in the business. From the first point of contact, their communication and service has been outstanding. Patrick was always so prompt in responding to my emails and answering the many questions I had in great detail which was hugely appreciated for a polished concrete novice like myself. Overcharged for a job I could have done myself. We asked for a burnished finish. Kept getting told I wouldn't like the burnished finish and didn't quote me for it (only for the full cut and polish). They spent all of about 6 hours polishing with something that looked like a hand sander and then sealing the floor, then charged me over 3000 dollars. I queried this price when the full grind and polish (which takes about 3 days) costs around 7000, and – surprise! – I did go for the burnished look.Clearly I'm in the wrong business when tradespeople are getting paid around 250 an hour for a job that

Policrete were fantastic to work with from start till finish. The floor has come up brilliantly and their professionalism throughout the project was some of the best I've experienced. Due to my store being situated in a shopping centre most of the works had to be conducted outside usual business hours and Policrete accommodated for this and were very flexible.
I wouldn't think twice about using Policrete on future projects and would recommend them highly.
