Soltek to the rescue. I had a problem with panels installed by another service provider and couldn't get them to respond to emails, txt or calls re a problem. Soltek was great to deal with and highly recommend them. They were my second cheapest quote I got and I am glad i went with them. From the quote all the way through to installation I can't really fault them. Karam from sales is great and honest and gave me a few options. Cindy and Tracey were great and organised all the paperwork and install times promptly. Blake from the installation team was a pleasure to deal with and very patient. Overall quality of service and response time in any technical inquiry and feedback is competitive and satisfied.
I had 13.32kwh systems on top of my house roof on purpose in the following spec.
- 36 x 370w panels(Longi)
- 36 x SolarEdge optimizers
- 2 x 5kw SolarEdge inverters(wifi/wire)
- SolarEdge production + consumption monitoring system via mobile app
The reason why there are 2 x 5kwh inverters instead of 1 x 10kwh inverter is for HA(High Availability) that helps keep at least the half of Solar panels running to produce solar energy just in case of any fault on the one of two inverters

Brilliant solar installation.
Huge thanks to Damien from Soltek and Patrick and his team for the install. I have researched solar for 2 years (yes I know a bit of overkill). And throughout that research Damien… from Soltek’s name kept popping up everywhere. The knowledge he has is impressive. I got 8 quotes (yes again possibly overkill), and his proposal was the best and pricing was on point. The workmanship was also outstanding. Have nothing but praise for Soltek Energy. Frustrating experience with Soltek - I can’t recommend them. Pre-sales was good, but once our unit was installed and paid for (but not yet operational), they basically ghosted us. If you do decide to buy from them, I'd suggest not paying them until your system is FULLY working. In our case, the inverter wasn't working after installation and we’d asked for help, but Soltek just kept stalling - e.g. promising to inspect the unit “sometime this week” but never following through, or asking the same questions we’d already answered. This went on for months. Why didn’t they just come out to

Installed 6.6kw system back in May 2019. Went with LG panels & Solar Edge invertor deal as recommended by Damien. Could not have made a better decision. System was a hassle free one, from first phone call to completion was 1 week. Usual bill prior to installation was around $550 per quarter- first bill after was $122.00. The next bill is predicted & on track to be in credit by $76.00. Loving the summer months.
