I was unable to go home last night, came to kingpins looking for my friend to help me.
One of your employees found me and threatened to call the cops, didn’t believe anything I said constantly calling me a liar, and didn’t offer any help when I told him what was wrong.
I’ll give you two stars instead of one because I don’t think the actions of one employee not knowing what empathy is should impact the entire company, but I do want to make sure you see this.

I have a hand-full of gripes, and a mountain of compliments for this company. In summary, they care here from the very top with its founder Dave, to the entry staff. No matter the position or its responsibility there is a pride in how things are done.
Parking could be better from a visitors stand-point as the fleet is quite large and there's alot of employees.
The building itself is quite nice, updated inside and accommodating; quality hand sanitizer mounted or sitting at corners and entries throughout.

We had recently bought the business (Shears Ahead) from the previous owner, and we needed to get our Fire extinguishers certified. Aaron Smith called us during the 'Shut down" caused by COVID-19, and offered to meet us at the business ANYTIME to take care of our needs. He was very cordial, and professional, and understood the financial hit we hat taken due to the shutdown, and made special arrangements with us, so we could get the work done, and be in compliance with the Oregon's requirements, which we were very happy about.

We contacted First Response and spoke with Aaron after a fire department inspection of our property. We needed to replace all of our fire extinguishers and boxes. Within an hour, we had an email with the quote and were able to get it approved for delivery the following week! I could feel Aaron's desire to help via the email just in the way he kept me updated and seemed so upbeat and happy to ensure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. I have worked with Chip before during yearly extinguisher charges and he is just as friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We had a horrible experience with another company. Come to find out we had contracted with a third party who then contracts with a local company for the equipment and monitoring (we assume). The local company refused to drive an hour to install our new system that had been sitting in the box for three months. Finally after getting a ton of run around the company let us out of our contract. First Response was the first company we called. We really liked the idea that they do everything in house and that they were a local company. But we had our reservations since they were an hour away from us

Our company hired First Response for a hands-on fire extinguisher training for our 40 corporate employees. They brought flames & extinguishers, very cool (and informative). I recommend this to anyone who may have the need to use a fire extinguisher (so everyone!) because you don't know what it is like until you try it. We were thrilled to have them train us and we will have a better employee response in time of emergency because of the training. THANKS!!! Planning on this to be an annual training event.
