I engaged Add Style for an upstairs addition of my house. The price was reasonable and they could complete the job in time. However, the workmanship was TERRIBLE! There are numerous issues with Add style's works, ranging from major structural flaws to small problems such as gaps between eaves and rafters. We wouldn’t have been able to discover all these problems if we did not engage with other builders and trades for the downstairs works. For example, three steel beams supporting the entire upstairs structures were placed incorrectly. This major problem was only revealed after we removed the

I have to say that we have been very impressed with Add Style. They delivered on everything stated and asked. From the very beginning for us working with their architect Cam was effortless. He ensured the plans not only aligned but exceed our expectations. They made our life very easy throughout the entire journey. From the initial consultation with Marcus right through the build we found them a pleasure to deal with, professional, courteous and with great attention to detail. The Add-style team did a fantastic job on our upstairs addition of 3 bedrooms and a two way bathroom.
From dealing with Bill and Tim and Marcus on design. communication was clear and the project went smooth and on time. Jay and Billy were a pleasure to work with and nothing was too hard or a problem.

We engaged AddStyle for our first floor addition in 2017 (2 bedrooms, bathroom & lounge space that could potentially be turned into 3 bedroom) and down stairs reno.
From day one AddStyle, were extremely professional and provided guidance and advice, not only on the project but also provided ideas and thoughts for the entire renovation.
The team where highly skilled and the entire project was on time and budget.

We engaged Add Style for a first floor addition in 2017 and it became an ordeal for us from the early stages of the build when they decided they "did not want to" complete variations set out within our original contract.
We had a series of further issues during the build, including:
- leaks from the roof in a number of locations (black mould formed which they painted over and said would "dry out" - the plasterboard in the ceiling eventually bowed from the water damage)
- non-compliant electrical work (resulting in an Ausgrid non-compliance notice)
- plumbing issue after bathroom install (leaking

I hired Addstyle to add a second story to my existing home. There quote was reasonable so I proceeded. What debacle since. The workmanship was mediocre, the job was managed poor and they were regularly charging variances for extra work, so the original reasonable quote became expensive. I would recommend choosing another northern beaches builder.
