Hi my name is Les McIntosh I am the founder of Active Plumbing Service Pty Ltd also known as Active Plumbing. It was about 1978 that I became a Licensed plumber, after I completed my apprenticeship. I Starting off as a builders labourer, eventually managed to get started as a first year apprentice working for the union steam ship company of New Zealand.
Thank you for your prompt service - re: replacement of aged hot water service- also added thank you must go to debbie, whose quiet polite patience, on the phone is indeed a credit to your company. It was by chance that we came across Active Plumbing, being the first one in the phone book that answered our call straight away and was able to give a price to put a tap in our backyard.
You always wanted things to run smoothly in your house. However, there are times when you encounter various household troubles like an unexpected blocked drain in your kitchen. You may have tried very hard to keep everything in order but things like clogged or blocked drains can happen from time to time.
Electric hot water heaters 250 litres and above are usually on off peak electricity. If you find that your hot water has gone cold and you have a 250 litre heater or bigger in capacity most likely you are on off peak this means that your electricity supplier is supplying you with electricity at a reduced rate for using it to heat your hot water outside of peak hours.
